This time it was Kenan ? not Kel ? who said ?"I do, I do, I do, I do ooh!"

"Saturday Night Live's" Kenan Thompson married model Christine Evangeline on Friday, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The 33-year-old comedian said "I do" in the Arctic Room of the George Aquarium in Atlanta, and Nick Cannon even headed south to DJ and do some MCing!

"(They're) very happy. They've lived together as a couple and were excited to share the moments with close friends," says a source. "She was thrilled and a beautiful bride."

PFT: Manning fine with Colts drafting a QB

Dallas Cowboys v Philadelpia EaglesGetty Images

Two days after the Eagles deactivated receiver DeSean Jackson for missing a special-teams meeting, Jackson was interviewed by NFL Network?s Michael Irvin regarding the situation.

Contrary to reports that he completely missed the meeting, Jackson contends that he showed up 20 minutes late.? Jackson acknowledged that this had happened once before during his time with the team.

Most significantly, Jackson claims that other players have shown up late for meetings or missed meetings, and they weren?t deactivated.

?Honestly, I?ve never seen coach [Andy] Reid do anything like that,? Jackson tells Irvin.? ?I?ve never seen him bench anybody for missing a meeting.?

Apart from the events resulting in his deactivation, Jackson seems to be disturbed by his unresolved contract situation.? Writes Irvin in an item appearing at NFL.com:? ?The fact that the team spent so aggressively in building the ?Dream Team? clearly has weighed on DeSean.? DeSean revealed that he hasn?t been able to be his fun-loving self this season because of the distractions over his contract.? Now, we?re not talking a T.O. situation here, but he sees the guys around him being taken care of, and he believes he?s put in the work and it should be his turn.?

But here?s the reality.? Apart from cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and the new contract for quarterback Mike Vick, the Eagles didn?t really spend ?aggressively.?

Jackson also told Irvin that ?rumors? about people with whom Jackson off the field have kept the Eagles from making a long-term commitment.? Even if that?s true (and I?ve got a gut feeling it isn?t), the solution is simple:? Quit associating with those people until getting a new contract.

Jackson?s situation ultimately comes down to his abilities, the use of those abilities, and leverage.? Jackson currently has no leverage, and he?s not using whatever abilities he may still have.? After the season, if the Eagles use the franchise tag on Jackson, he can withhold services for all of the offseason, training camp, and preseason without penalty.? That would give him plenty of leverage.? (Of course, the Eagles could rescind the franchise tag at any time, making Jackson a free agent.)

Frankly, Jackson needs to quit worrying about the contract he doesn?t have, or he?s never going to get it.? Given Howard Eskin?s contention that Jackson owes a significant amount of money to his agent, it?s easy to understand why Jackson may be distracted.? Still, he needs to find a way to put that out of his mind, and to focus on producing like he did in 2009 and 2010.

Spain economy halts in Q3, borrowing rate edges up (AP)

MADRID ? Spain's economy stagnated in the third quarter of the year following two quarters of modest growth, the National Statistics Institute said Wednesday.

The official figure, confirming a preliminary estimate from the Bank of Spain, came four days ahead of a general election that the opposition conservative Popular Party is predicted to win by a landslide.

Spain's moribund economy, the eurozone's fourth-largest, and soaring borrowing costs have dominated the election campaign. In particular, there are worries the country, which has an unemployment rate of 21.5 percent, is getting dragged further into Europe's debt crisis mire.

The country's key borrowing rate in the markets eased Wednesday following a couple days of big gains. The yield on Spain's ten-year bond eased 0.12 percentage point to 6.18 percent but edged back up toward 6.30 percent by early afternoon. A rate of 7 percent is considered unsustainable in the long-term.

Spain's Treasury faces a tough test of market confidence Thursday when it auctions up to euro4 billion ($5.4 billion) in 10-year bonds on the primary market.

The Bank of Spain said there is still time to meet the government's goal of reducing its budget deficit to 6 percent of GDP in 2011, from 9.2 percent last year, but warned fresh austerity measures may be necessary.

Weak growth prospects have been cited by the three top international credit ratings agencies for their recent downgrades of Spain's sovereign debt.

The Popular Party said Tuesday that Spain had paid euro1.5 billion in interest on its debt over the past 15 days, canceling out what the Socialist government had saved on its deficit-reducing measure of freezing pensions over the past year.

Microsoft clarifies that Windows 8 isn't coming to phones (video)

Oh, what a difference punctuation makes. Speaking at the company's shareholders' meeting earlier today, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer made a remark that set more than a few geek hearts aflutter. According to various reports, he said "We've got broad Windows initiatives driving Windows down to the phone with Windows 8."

Turns out, that's not how he said it. A Microsoft rep confirmed to us that if punctuated correctly, Ballmer's remarks (on display in the video below) should read, "We've got broad Windows initiatives driving Windows down to the phone. With Windows 8, you'll..." By "Windows," then, he meant the overarching family of software bearing the Windows name, and not Windows 8, specifically. Says Redmond's PR team:

"He was making a statement along the lines of what we've already publicly stated around providing a consistent experience across various devices but all carrying the Windows name."

Makes sense to us, seeing as how Windows 8 already makes good use of Windows Phone's Metro UI. Still, we'll be curious to see how Windows 8 starts trickling down into WP7 once the OS gets the final seal of approval, likely sometime next year.

New Space Station Crew to Launch Into Orbit Tonight (SPACE.com)

Three spaceflyers will launch to the International Space Station tonight (Nov. 13), to begin a months-long mission to the orbiting outpost.

NASA astronaut Dan Burbank and Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin are slated to launch aboard a Russian-built Soyuz rocket tonight at 11:14 p.m. EST (0415 GMT Nov. 14) from the Baikonour Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.?

Tonight's liftoff will be the first manned flight of the Soyuz rocket since the Russian-built booster suffered a failure in August. It will also be the first trio of station crewmembers to launch to the complex since NASA grounded its fleet of space shuttles in July after 30 years of service.

On Aug. 24, a Soyuz rocket carrying a robotic cargo freighter suffered a crippling malfunction minutes after launch. The booster and Progress 44 cargo ship crashed in Siberia, and the 2.9 tons of supplies onboard were lost.

The crash was a rare accident for the steadfast Soyuz rockets, and the incident prompted investigations into the cause of the problem. An investigation by Russia's Federal Space Agency and an independent NASA panel pinpointed a gas generator malfunction in the rocket's third stage as the root of the issue.

While the inquiry was underway, Russian space officials halted spaceflight operations to the station since similar versions of the Soyuz rocket are used to launch unmanned Progress vehicles and crewed Soyuz capsule to the space station. [50 Great Russian Rocket Launch Photos]

On Oct. 30, in what was the first supply run to the orbiting complex since the August crash, an unmanned Progress 45 cargo ship successfully launched to the station carrying nearly 3 tons of supplies for the orbiting outpost.

Burbank, Shkaplerov and Ivanishin are expected to arrive at the space station on Wednesday (Nov. 16) at 12:33 a.m. EST (0530 GMT), and dock their Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft to the Russian Poisk module. The three spaceflyers will join the rest of the station's Expedition 29 crew: commander Mike Fossum of NASA, Japanese astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov.

Burbank will become commander of the space station's Expedition 30 mission once Fossum, Furukawa and Volkov depart.

"My job as a member of the Expedition 29 crew, I?m flight engineer on that crew, and as commander of Expedition 30, first and foremost I think is to make sure that we?re safe, that everybody on the crew is safe and that the space station is operated safely," Burbank said in a preflight interview. "And then beyond that is to be a lab technician, to be a collaborator with the scientists on the ground doing the science, and to do that utilization and that?s in a bit of a contrast from the kinds of missions I?ve done before in the shuttle, but I?m really looking forward to it."

Fossum, Furukawa and Volkov were the last space station crew to welcome a visiting space shuttle. The trio arrived at the outpost in June and will return to Earth on Nov. 21.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Worst. Tea. Party. Ever.

No matter how you might feel about the Tea Party, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showed us one you definitely didn't want an invite to last night.

THG breaks down all the polite insults and sarcastic jabs in our +/- recap below!

Before we get to the party, we pick up where we left off last week with Kyle meeting Kim's soon to be live in beau, Ken. Minus 5 for walking into the room like she's being led to the guillotine. Then she says hello to the dog before acknowledging Ken.

Even to a huge animal lover, that seemed a little odd.

Do Come In

Kyle asks about the ring on Ken's finger. Kim tells her that it's the promise ring she gave him and Kyle snarks that it's still a wedding band. Minus 8. If the couple is calling it a promise ring then it's a promise ring.

I don't know if Ken is the right guy for Kim or not but Kyle's attitude won't help either way. She says she's taking a page from their mother's book and isn't going to acknowledge Ken because she doesn't like him. Minus 10. The only thing that's going to do is alienate her sister more and drive her closer into this guy's arms. Why can't Kyle see that?

Paul's birthday seems like a lovely dinner for him and Adrienne but Minus 3 for the tedious argument over what Adrienne should order. If that's the most interesting moment of this dinner couldn't we have skipped the whole thing.

Just before we get to the tea party we have Taylor winning an award and inviting everyone but Lisa to the luncheon. Of course Lisa finds out. Taylor says she didn't want to hear "some backhanded compliment wrapped up in sarcasm."

Yeah, that sounds like Lisa but this is a cat fight waiting to happen.

Lisa Vanderpump Face

Of course Dana tells Taylor she did the right thing not inviting Lisa but that means nothing. Minus 5 because Dana will back anyone who is sitting directly in front of her.

Lisa says she still invited Taylor to her tea party because she didn't want to get into such "petty bullsh!t" but that lasts all of ten minutes. Minus 10 for confronting Taylor in front of everyone at the party. So not cool. This should have been handled in private between the two of them but then again, what fun would that be.

Taylor breaks down in tears accusing Lisa of talking behind her back and not being her friend. Adrienne makes some attempt to play moderator between the two but nothing helps.

In all honesty, Lisa's just a gossipy know it all who likes to get in everyone's business and Taylor's troubled and fragile and takes everything personally. It's a little pathetic that a grown woman is brought to tears because someone claims she doesn't have friends.

Things get awkward when Taylor tries to drag the rest of the ladies into her fight. Minus 7. Can you hear the crickets? Lisa's not my favorite person either but this was an event in Lisa's home so I can't say I blame them for trying not to choose sides.

Taylor Armstrong Face

Taylor storms out but then heads back in and things get even uglier. When she chastises the ladies for not being honest, Camille lets loose. Be careful what you ask for.

Camille drags out all the things they've kept quiet about for Taylor like the physical abuse she's been taking from her husband. Apparently he's even broken her jaw.

Minus 20 because it's all a little contemptible that we're parading out an abusive marriage and a man's last days before his suicide and labeling it as entertainment.

Like a train wreck it's hard to watch yet at the same time hard to look away. Ugh.

This episode may be over but the drama goes on.

Huntsman: Foreign aid cuts 'political sound bite'

WASHINGTON (AP) ? GOP presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman is promoting U.S. foreign aid as a sound investment, arguing that his opponents are opting for "sound-bite campaigning" when they advocate eliminating it.

Appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation," Huntsman said there are areas that are critical to Washington, adding, in his words, "if they're in America's interest, we get some return on that invested dollar." He adds, "To wish it all away, I think, is a political sound bite."

The former Utah governor and President Barack Obama's first ambassador to China also supports a continued U.S. relationship with Pakistan, linking continuing financial assistance to reform, stability in the country and expanded markets. Huntsman also said in the Sunday interview that Pakistan risks becoming a failed nation and the U.S. must maintain ties with Islamabad.

Eye on home, Obama heads for Asia-Pacific summit (AP)

CORONADO, Calif. ? President Barack Obama is jetting away from Washington's political and budget battles just as crucial decisions and deadlines approach, focusing instead on Asia-Pacific nations and trying to persuade voters at home the distant region is essential to American jobs and security.

Obama departed Friday for summits in Hawaii and Indonesia and a visit to Australia in between.

For nine days, the president will be as many as 10,000 miles from home at a time when jobs, the frail economy and other domestic concerns matter most to the U.S. electorate. But Asia and the Pacific region are crucial to America's future, the White House insists.

Obama was born in Hawaii, spent boyhood years in Indonesia and points to himself as America's first Pacific president, so his worldview is shaped deeply by Asia. His administration is showering attention on the region as a driver of global politics, a prized buyer of American products and a central player in protecting world peace.

"If you want America to be a world leader in this century, that leadership is going to have to include the Asia-Pacific," said Ben Rhodes, a deputy national security adviser.

Such a focus is essential to American interests, analysts say, but still a test for a president who is seeking to govern and run for re-election at once.

The White House hopes the world will see Obama's trip as a pivot point in American policy, as Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton put it. The war in Iraq will be over by year's end, the war in Afghanistan is winding down and Obama is trying to expand trade, security alliances and cultural ties with traditional allies and emerging powers across Asia.

The subtext of the trip agenda is Obama's intention to keep the United States as a viable counterweight to a rising China, particularly in the eyes of other leaders in the region.

The element Obama aides don't mention is the potential political cost of having the president out of the country, half a world away, as other debates rage back home.

The economy is king, from the presidential campaign to Obama's jobs fights to a legislative supercommittee charged with finding more than $1 trillion in cuts by a Nov. 23 deadline. Republicans and Democrats seem far apart, and there is growing pessimism they will succeed.

"I can see the domestic political advisers saying, `Ten days in the Pacific while people are out of work in the U.S. ? Mr. President, you ought to cut this one short,'" said Douglas Paal, vice president for studies at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a former national security aide to presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.

White House officials say there are no plans to do that. A suddenly shortened trip would be seen as a slap to Asian allies, and the Australian leg has already been postponed twice because of higher-ranking domestic concerns for Obama.

En route to Hawaii, Obama stopped in Coronado, Calif., to attend a Veterans Day basketball game between Michigan State and No. 1 North Carolina on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson. That's the aircraft carrier that took Osama bin Laden's body to a burial at sea after American commandos killed the al-Qaida leader in Pakistan.

Over the weekend, the president will host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, forum in Honolulu, to promote trade and jobs.

The big push for Obama will be establishing a Pacific-wide free trade zone that is now being negotiated by the United States and eight smaller economies.

The goal is for the trade zone to eventually cover a region accounting for more than half of global output. Japan's prime minister, Yoshihiko Noda, said Friday that his country would participate in talks about joining the free trade zone, and there are hopes that China and others will, too. The expectations at the Obama-hosted summit are not for a deal but perhaps the announcement of a broad framework and more discussions.

As usual, the more intense diplomatic action will happen on the sidelines. Obama will hold private meetings with the leaders of Japan, Russia and China.

Altogether, Obama will spend four nights in Hawaii and is expected to have a light schedule on Monday ? only a fundraiser, a reminder of the domestic politics that follow him.

In Australia, Obama will deliver a speech to Parliament in Canberra.

He is also expected to announce a deeper U.S. military footprint in the country during a stop in Darwin, in the northern reaches of Australia. The defense agreement is likely to include positioning of U.S. equipment in Australia, increasing access to bases and conducting more joint exercises and training.

More broadly, Obama will use the trip to try to reassure allies that the United States will not slash its security presence across the Asia-Pacific despite austerity measures at home.

Yet the threat of defense cuts is rattling Obama's own administration. If the deficit-cutting supercommittee cannot agree on a plan that wins approval from Congress, a new law calls for deep cuts across the government to kick in automatically starting in 2013, including more than $500 billion for the military.

The president caps his trip in Indonesia, where he spent four years as a boy.

Obama delivered a speech in the capital, Jakarta, last year in which he declared that "Indonesia is a part of me." This time he will be the first U.S. president to take part in the East Asia Summit, in Bali, known as a tropical paradise for tourism. The U.S. has put its stamp on the summit agenda in the area of security, including halting the proliferation of nuclear weapons.

The trip amounts to Obama's most extensive travel of the year.

He leaves as his approval ratings have been mired in the mid- to low-40 percent range in many recent polls, including a 46 percent approval number in the latest Associated Press-GfK poll from mid-October. His overall rating outpaces his performance on the economy. On matters of foreign affairs, Obama fares far better, garnering the approval of about 6 in 10 adults.

Obama is expected to underscore the relevance of the trip to Americans by the day. He will be back in Washington on Nov. 20.

"This isn't a trip to the far-flung corners of Asia," said Daniel Russel, Obama's senior director for Asian affairs. "This is a trip to the Asia-Pacific. The U.S. is very much an Asia-Pacific nation. We're a resident power."
